The Heist is the eighth episode of season one.
Synopsis[]
As night falls Batman is summoned to police headquarters. There he meets with Commissioner Gordon and Renee Montoya. Gordon tells Batman that he's heard word that Gotham's First National Bank will be robbed. Batman then heads back to the Batcave. Inside Batman is greeted by Alfred. Bruce Wayne tells Alfred that something doesn't feel right and believes that this "heist" is a trap. Later Arnold Flass reports to Lew Moxon saying that Batman has taken the bait. Later Batman arrives at the bank. He walks inside and is surrounded by Flass and his men. They fight for a little bit then escape. As they escape the building goes into lock down and a poisonous gas is released into the room. Just then Commissioner Gordon arrives. Gordon sees that Batman is in danger and is able to break in and get him out safely. Then Batman and Gordon go after the thugs. The criminals believe that they have gotten away but are soon confronted by Batman and Gordon. Knowing that they are outmatched they surrender, but refuse to confess about who they are working for because they know if they tell they're dead. When Moxon gets a phone call saying that Batman is still alive he throws the phone across the room in anger. The episode ends with the henchmen being taken to Arkham Asylum and being experimented on by Jonathan Crane using his Fear Gas.
