Beginnings[]
Ace Chemicas started out as Kane Chemicals. It was founded by Martha Wayne's parents. When the company was sold to and merged with Apex Chemicals the companies name was changed to Ace.
Birth of the Joker[]
Ace Chemicals is best known as the site where a criminal accidentaly fell into a vat of chemicals during a fight with Batman. The chemicals caused the mans hair to turn green, his face to turn white and his lips to turn red. This event drove the man insane and he became the Joker.
Poison Ivy's attack[]
After Black Mask gave Pamela Isley the power to control plants she went to the Ace Chemical building and killed the C.E.O. for illegally dumping toxic waste into the Gotham City river.
